In the World Table Tennis (WTT) US Smash 2026 held in Los Angeles, California from June 27 to July 6 (Beijing Time), Lin Shidong and Kuai Man delivered stellar performances. Both athletes are HNU 2024-intake undergraduates majoring in leisure sports.
In the women’s doubles, Kuai Man partnered with Wang Manyu to defeat the Japanese pair of Hina Hayata and Miwa Harimoto 3–1 in the final, claiming the title before she went on to bag a silver medal in the women’s singles final.
In the men’s doubles, Lin Shidong and his partner Huang Youzheng advanced to the final and finished runners-up.
