A parent of high school graduate Tang Qiong, spoke highly of Hainan University after the on-site consultation. “I had limited knowledge of Hainan University before, yet I am truly impressed by what I’ve learned today. As a Project 211 and Double First-Class institution, the university offers an extensive selection of majors and is far more practical and user-friendly than I expected. I resolved all my questions at the Hainan University booth in one visit, which is highly efficient and convenient,” she remarked.
The first and third floors of the Collaborative Innovation Center buzzed with nonstop inquiries at the consultation booths. Most visitors sought advice on major transfer policies and employment prospects. HNU’s admissions team provided professional, one-on-one guidance throughout the event. Some staff gave concise on-site presentations on the university’s key strengths, while others referred to official admission documents to elaborate on the features and differences of various majors.
Wang Ying, a high school graduate from Huanggang Experimental School in Danzhou, took time to explore the exhibition area and learn more about HNU. “I plan to apply for law program,” she shared. “HNU is close to my hometown and features a pleasant campus environment. The university has achieved remarkable development in recent years. As one of HNU’s flagship academic programs, its law program enjoys prestigious recognition across Hainan Province and beyond, equipping graduates with strong competitiveness in the job market.”
Hosted free of charge for graduating high school students across Hainan, the fair offers prospective applicants access to authoritative admission information and practical guidance on university applications. It also serves as a streamlined, face-to-face platform that connects students and parents directly with university admissions representatives.
It is officially confirmed that Hainan University ’s undergraduate enrollment plan for 2026 targets 9,400 students across 77 undergraduate majors this year, an increase of 300 students compared to last year.
