Hainan University (HNU) held its 8th Luminaries Lecture in Humanities & Social Sciences in the auditorium of the Tin Ka Ping Building on the morning of November 8. Li Congjun, former President of Xinhua News Agency and a member of the 17th and 18th Central Committees of the CPC, delivered a lecture titled “Character, Knowledge, and Professionalism”. Attendees included Wang Yao, former Chairperson of China Photographers Association, and Fu Xuanguo, Secretary of CPC HNU Committee, as well as other senior HNU leaders, including Nie Qingbin, Chen Jun, Han Shumei and Tan Yong. The event was presided over by Fu Xuanguo.
