On September 30, Torsten Meier, Vice President for International Affairs of Paderborn University (UPB, Universität Paderborn) held talks with Vice President Chen Jun at HNU’s administration building.

Chen Jun extended a warm welcome to Torsten Meier and briefed him on HNU’s achievements in creating new campuses and degree programs, strengthening the development of academic disciplines, and promoting international exchanges and collaboration. Chen expressed hope that Meier’s visit would serve as an opportunity to enhance cooperation in advanced physics research and launch faculty/student exchange and joint education programs.
Torsten Meier commended HNU for its leapfrog development and introduced UPB’s vision and mission, academic disciplines, and degree programs. He expressed his intent to establish a long-term partnership with HNU, with the emphasis on advancing cooperation in engineering science.
Representatives from HNU’s Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, as well as the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, attended the meeting.
