Recently, the finals of the 8th Intelligent Agricultural Equipment Innovation Competition for International College Students were held at Jiangsu University. The natural rubber intelligent cutting team of Hainan University stood out from 498 participating teams from 69 universities in China and won a special prize. The team was guided by Professor Zhang Xirui from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

The "Intelligent Profiling Advanced Cutting Machine" developed by the Natural Rubber Intelligent Cutting Team of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering has changed the traditional manual cutting method. The cutting machine has a high degree of automation, is not limited by the scene, can be used in network coverage areas. It has the broad application prospects due to its low operating costs, low maintenance costs, efficient work, stable performance and good cutting effect.
