On the afternoon of November 30, the China-Arab Youth Exchange Symposium was held at Mission Hills Campus of Hainan University. Chinese and Arab youth representatives from various fields conducted in-depth discussions on multicultural education, science and technology innovation, green development, economic and trade cooperation and other topics.

Group A

Participants were divided into three groups, A, B, and C, focusing on three themes of empowering youth development through education, empowering industrial development through digital technology, and promoting global sustainable development through public welfare. The youth representatives agreed that the China-Arab Youth Exchange Symposium has provided a platform for Chinese and Arab youth to express their views freely, and deepened their understanding of Hainan Free Trade Port and China’s high-level opening up from multiple perspectives.

Group B

Before the symposium, there was a reception given at Mission Hills Campus, where Zhang Jiyou, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hainan University, made a welcome address. Members of the Arab Youth Leadership Exchange Camp visited the training base of the campus and the “one-stop” service hall for students and teachers, and experienced cultural activities such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, bamboo stick dance, and chess together with the university students.

Group C

Heads of youth organizations from 22 Arab countries, youth representatives from all walks of life, officials from relevant departments of Hainan University, faculty and student representatives attended the symposium.
