Hainan University Wins Bronze Medal at the 3rd China Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

From October 25 to 28, the finals of the 3rd China Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The project titled “Development of a Colorimetric/SERS Dual-Mode Sensing Platform for the Simultaneous Detection of Multiple Core Biomarkers in AD Blood and Its Application in Early Rapid Diagnosis”, led by Dr. Zhang Liding’s postdoctoral team at Hainan University, excelled in the Biomedicine and Health Track of the Innovation Competition and won the Bronze Medal—marking the best result ever achieved by Hainan Province in the event’s history.

The China Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, co-hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and provincial people’s governments, is a biennial event and represents the largest, highest-level, and most extensive postdoctoral competition in China. It adopts a format combining on-site project presentations with expert Q&A sessions. This year’s competition featured four categories—Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Overseas (Belt and Road), and Challenge—covering seven major tracks, including New-Generation Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. A total of 8,006 projects involving 36,000 participants competed, with 63 gold, 133 silver, and 198 bronze medals awarded.
