Guided by the spirit of educators, all faculty and staff of HNU will carry forward the “Hainan University Spirit,” uphold noble ethics and professional conduct, and align their personal growth with the university’s vision of becoming a world-class institution. They will comprehensively and systematically advance the “Three Major Reforms” (a comprehensive credit system, a residential college system, and the establishment of collaborative innovation centers) and the “Seven Major Tasks” (First-Class Undergraduate Education Initiative, World-Class Discipline Initiative, Serve Hainan Initiative, HNU Global Partnership Initiative, Education Digitalization Project, Resource Management Project, and Safe & Beautiful Campus Project),while fully implementing the university’s 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030).
