The university has established 16 physical residential colleges along with collegiate-level party organizations, and has implemented a collegiate system reform that extends to all students. This reform covers various campuses and teaching locations within the university. It has created a “three-way intersection” residential college education model, accommodating students from different academic disciplines, educational levels, and cultural backgrounds. Among these, Haidian Campus features 11 residential colleges: Yefeng Residential College, Zijin Residential College, Qingyun Residential College, Nanhai Residential College, Chunming Residential College, Haide Residential College, Tiangong Residential College, Pucheng Residential College, Chengfeng Residential College, Fengxiang Residential College, and Zhonghe Residential College. Danzhou Campus houses 2 Residential Colleges: Tanya Residential College and Danxin Residential College. Mission Hills Campus is home to one Residential College: Jinchao Residential College. Chengxi Campus has one Residential College, Chenxi Residential College. Finally, the Yazhou Bay Science and Education Park is home to Yazhou Residential College.
