Students having completed the courses stipulated in the professional training program with passing grades are qualified to graduate. The Bachelor of Engineering is conferred upon those who have fulfilled the prescribed requirements.
(3) Training Objectives
Oriented to the talent demands for national strategy, regional economic and social development and artificial intelligence development, this major aims to cultivate compound senior professional technicians with sound personality, broad knowledge base and professional proficiency, who have a strong sense of social responsibility, international vision, innovative thinking and practical ability, possess basic theory knowledge and engineering application ability in the field of intelligent science and technology, and have the ability to engage themselves in research, development, design, management, maintenance and technical support in the intelligence science and technology program and related fields.
Graduates should be able to achieve the following objectives by approx. 5-year work experience:
Students should adapt to the development of intelligence science and technology, integrate the basic knowledge of mathematics and professional knowledge of intelligence science and technology, and have the ability to provide systematic solutions to complex engineering projects.
Students should be able to follow the cutting-edge technologies in intelligence science and technology and related fields, possess the spirit of innovation and the ability of engineering practice, and have the ability to utilize modern tools to carry out design, development and manufacturing of related products in the program;
Students should possess a strong sense of social responsibility, understand and adhere to codes of professional ethics, consider the impact of laws, environment and sustainability factors, and prioritize the public interest in engineering practice.
Students should possess a healthy body and mind and good humanistic literacy, teamwork spirit, and skills of communication and presentation, and engineering project management.
Students should possess globalization consciousness and international outlook, be able to proactively adapt to changing domestic and international situations and environments, and have the habits and abilities of autonomous and lifelong learning.
(4) Graduation Requirements
Graduates should meet the following requirements in knowledge and ability:
1. Engineering Knowledge: Be able to solve complex engineering problems in the field of intelligence science and technology by applying professional knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering fundamentals.
2. Problem Analysis: Be able to identify and express and analyze complex engineering problems in the field of intelligence science and technology for valid conclusions by applying basic principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences and conducting the literature research.
3. Design: Be able to design solutions to complex engineering problems in the field of artificial intelligence, and to design innovative systems, and function module processes to meet specific needs on the premise of taking society, health, safety, laws, culture, and environment factors into account.
4. Research: Be able to conduct research on complex engineering problems in the field of artificial intelligence based on science principles and methods, including designing experiment and analyzing and interpreting data, and to draw reasonable and effective conclusions through information integration.
Use of Modern Tools: Have the ability to develop, select and use appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering tools and information technology tools for complex engineering problems in the field of intelligence science and technology.
5. Engineering and Society: Be able to make reasonable analysis based on relevant background knowledge of intelligence science and technology major, evaluate the impact of engineering practice and solutions to complex engineering problems on society, health, safety, law and culture, and understand the responsibilities to be assumed.
6. Environment and Sustainable Development: Be able to understand and evaluate the impacts of engineering practices with complex engineering problems in the field of intelligence science and technology on sustainable development of the environment and society.
7. Professional Norms: Have good literacy in humanities and social sciences and strong sense of social responsibility and be able to understand and comply with professional ethics and norms and fulfill a duty in engineering practice.

Communication: Be able to effectively conduct communication and interaction on intelligence science and technology issues with industry partners and the public, including writing reports and designing manuscripts, presenting statements, and articulating or responding to instructions. Graduates should develop an international perspective and be able to communicate and interact in an intercultural context.
9. Project Management:Understand and master management principles and economic decision-making methods related to intelligence science and technology engineering, and be able to apply them in a multidisciplinary environment.
