HNU signs agreement with Chang'an University

The agreement is signed between Hainan University and Chang'an University on May 26.

Hainan University (HNU) signed a cooperation agreement with Chang'an University (CHD) on May 26. The agreement commits both sides to cooperate in discipline development, faculty development, staff training, scientific research, international exchanges, and social services.

Luo Qingming, president of HNU, introduced the university and its key achievements during the signing ceremony. He said that HNU will make full use of its location and resources, optimize its disciplines and strengthen its research teams, with the aim of supporting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. 

He added that HNU will support CHD in developing research institutions and educational programs in Hainan, and jointly provide support for professionals and help to ensure that there is an appropriate skills base for local economic and social development.

Both sides will explore an effective cooperation mechanism, realize resource sharing, and enhance their capacity for training, scientific research and social services, said Sha Aiming, president of CHD.
