HNU pay tribute to heroes on Tomb-Sweeping Day
Hainan University teachers and students paid tribute to revolutionary martyrs during the Tomb-Sweeping Day holiday, through visits to memorial sites and the online study of their heroic deeds.
The College of International Tourism teachers and students presented flower baskets, observed moments of silence, bowed to revolutionary martyrs, and reviewed the Communist Youth League vows at the Monument to the Sea-Crossing Heroes. Students that have joined the Communist Party of China outlined the history of the monument and called upon attendees to carry forward the revolutionary spirit.

Teachers and students from the College of Management and the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering visited the Cemetery of the Martyrs in Liberation of Hainan Island. They reviewed the CYL pledge, learned about the martyrs' deeds, and recited the epitaph of the Hainan martyrs.
In addition to these offline commemorations, students also learned about the heroic deeds, mused over the heroic achievements, and expressed their respect for the revolutionary martyrs online.
