Two metabolic biology papers enter top 1% for ESI citations
Two papers published last year by an innovation team of Hainan University (HNU) on the metabolic biology of tropical crops in Molecular Plant entered the top 1 percent by citation frequency in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database.
Luo Jie, professor at HNU's College of Tropical Crops, was the corresponding author of the Structure and Function of Major Plant Metabolite Modifications and Genome-wide Dissection of Co-selected UV-B Responsive Pathways in the UV-B Adaptation of Qingke. HNU youth teacher Wang Shouchuang and his partners were the first author of the two ESI Highly Cited Papers.
