HNU hosts Asian-Pacific opto- and microelectronics conference
The 2019 Asian-Pacific Conference on Fundamental Problems of Opto- and Microelectronics (APCOM) was held at Hainan University (HNU) on Nov 23 and 24.
Domestic and foreign experts and scholars specializing in opto- and microelectronics, as well as structural health were invited to attend the conference. They conducted in-depth discussions revolving around seven topics, including "optoelectronics sensing and measurement systems," "application of optoelectronics science in medicine, life sciences, and structural health monitoring," "new optoelectronics materials and structural technologies," "micro nanotechnology in optoelectronics," "optical information and data processing," "microelectronics sensing and control system," and "smart materials and optoelectronic devices."
Wang Aimin, a professor of HNU, delivers a speech titled The Practice and Development of Modern Marine Ranching in China.
Yu.N. Kulchin, vice president of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Zhao Mingshan, professor at Dalian University of Technology, as well as experts from ITMO University, Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, the Institute of Automation and Control Processes of the Far Eastern Scientific Center, and Harbin Institute of Technology delivered keynote speeches.
The event was jointly organized by HNU, the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Dalian University of Technology.
The 20th anniversary celebration meeting of APCOM will also be hosted by HNU in 2020.
