Hainan University students visits Lingshui court for subject research
Eleven Hainan University (HNU) postgraduate and PhD students, led by Wang Qi, dean of the College of Law, visited Lingshui Li Autonomous County People's Court on Aug 6 for subject research and investigation.
The judicial body is one of "China's Outstanding Courts" and a Provincial Demonstration Court for Judicial System Reform.
Wu Xingmin, deputy head of the court, introduced the current progress of the court's efforts in advancing judicial system reform, especially innovations in the joint lawsuit and intermediation system, as well as the establishment of a diversified dispute resolution mechanism.
Wu expressed wishes that the students can develop a more profound understanding of the trial implementation, judicial system reform, and the court culture through their visit, which would benefit their studies and future career.

Wang said he appreciated Lingshui court's long-standing support to HNU. He expressed hope that the two sides can deepen their cooperation in internships, talent cultivation, as well as resources and achievements sharing.
The two sides had an in-depth discussion on criminal incidental civil public interest litigation and the use of the judiciary in ecological environment protection.
HNU teachers and students also visited the cultural corridor, library and honor showroom to learn about the court's development trajectory in judicial reform.
